Brittany Dickson is the author of Sixth Gear: Life & Love in the Paddock: A Memoir about Love and Tragedy at 130 mph. Brittany lives in beautiful Bend, Oregon. When she is not racing and setting the world on fire with her adventures, SCUBA diving wrecks or with sharks, bungee jumping, hang gliding, or traveling in search of waves and good food, she is cuddled up next to a cozy wood fire with her love, reading a book, or in the kitchen, either hosting a Thanksgiving feast for thirty guests or making soup for her ailing neighbor. Brittany grew up on a small ranch in Oregon, believing in honesty, tenacity, and, ultimately, true love, and despite her tough exterior, she is a closet advocate for humanity and all things surrounding love.
